Major Projects and Procurement Support division of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Management (MFEM) are looking for a Contractor to tender for the full design, supply and build of the following:
Replacement of existing lead-acid batteries with lithium ion batteries across the six islands Replacement of obsolete, incompatible, and failed equipment. Infrastructure upgrades to support the new battery systems Additional photovoltaic (PV) Generation capacity to complement the battery systems and achieve renewable energy goals The Project will involve battery systems replacements at the 8 power stations on six Northern Group Islands of Pukapuka, Nassau, Rakahanga, Manihiki, Penrhyn, and Palmerston.
