This document establishes the process used by DOT&PF to cooperate with non-metropolitan local officials in the development of the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) and the Statewide Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), in accordance with federal requirements under 23 CFR 450.210(b). This update represents DOT&PF-s required five-year review of the NMLOCP and incorporates process improvements, updated coordination practices, and lessons learned since the previous adoption in February 2021.
