Revision (deadline 5) of the strategic noise mapping Analysis of critical noise zones Noise mapping update - Analysis of critical noise zones The purpose of the study is the revision (in the sense of European regulations) of strategic noise maps (CBS). The most up-to-date data will be used. And, as part of a broader policy of prevention and information on noise pollution, additional cards will be requested. The services are divided into one firm tranche and five optional tranches. In order to reduce exposure to noise pollution of residents and sensitive establishments, it is essential to have a diagnosis at a sufficient level of precision so as to be able to consider setting up a multi-year action program. Taking into account the noise level and the concentration of the exposed population, 10 areas have been identified as high-stakes areas (level 1 (purple) and level 2 (red) issues in the table critical noise zones in the appendix). The objective of this study is to objectify the noise levels and determine more precisely the exposure of local residents for the 3 most critical zones and to propose concrete solutions in order to improve the quality of life and public health by reducing environmental noise.
