Invitation to prequalification for notice is hereby given by the ministry of finance, financial institutions commission (ficom), of its intent to contract with gold medal systems, inc. To provide software maintenance services on an "as needed and when" basis for the existing credit union information system (cuis), including monthly/quarterly/annual financial and statistical returns, electronic data entry, database, and financial risk monitoring programs.the financial institutions commission believes that the contractor is the only vendor that can provide the cuis software maintenance services for the following reasons:. The indicated resource, gold medal systems, inc. Has over 25 years experience in developing systems for the british columbia credit union industry.. The indicated resource personally designed and built the majority of the network-based programs for the credit union information system that are used by the ficom; stabilization central credit union; and central 1 credit union, including electronic data entry (through ficom s private secured website), data analysis suite, custom data extract, comparative analysis report, and summary trend analysis report.. The indicated resource has extensive historical knowledge of ficom s credit union information needs in relation to financial data collection and risk monitoring as well as a current understanding for its future needs under a risk-based supervisory framework.. The indicated resource has extensive systems knowledge and ongoing experience with detailed information requirements throughout the british columbia credit union industry.the total estimated value of the two (2) year contract will not exceed $25, 000.00. Ficom may at its sole discretion exercise its option to extend the contract, subject to the agreement of both parties.vendors wishing to object to this decision should contact jimmy kim, manager, contracts and special projects, financial institutions commission, ministry of finance, by email: jimmy.kim@ficombc.ca on or before 2:00 local time (pst) on february 22, 2018, detailing specific reasons for their objections, proof of their capability and proven record for supplying comparable services.
