IntroductionThis is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.PurposeThe National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate a firm-fixed priced purchase order on a sole source basis with the International Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS) located at 700 K Street NW, Washington DC, 20001-5692. The INCITS UEI is FN3BDJ9CWGP3. The purchase order will be for NIST sponsorship of the SC37 Biometric Standards Plenary Sessions. The period of performance will be date of award through January 16, 2026.AuthorityThis acquisition is being conducted under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106(b)(1) allowing the Contracting Officer (CO) to solicit from one source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561920 - Convention and Trade Show Organizers with a size standard of $20 Million.DescriptionThe contractor shall provide NIST recognition as a sponsor for the SC37 Biometric Standards Plenary Sessions, including in printed materials and at the welcome table.
