Work also includes sealing penetrations and abandoned penetrations with fire‑rated materials where the wall separates the Women-s restroom from the Spine corridor. An optional scope may include reconstructing storage room #4089, installing hollow metal door frames and doors with security hardware, sealing wall penetrations with fire-rated sealant, providing additional fire sprinkler protection as required, installing interior lighting, and installing NIST-standard interior signage. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, site protection, debris removal, and coordination required to complete the work in accordance with NIST campus safety and construction requirements.
