Tender Details

The project concerns nature development works on the territory of the municipality of Middelkerke in the vicinity of Steenstraat, Schuddebeurzeweg and Bamburgstraat. The objective of the works is the design of dune grounds in order to restore acidic dune grassland, grassland with heath, dune valleyi with pools. The project is located on a former WWI battlefield and is assessed as a high-risk project with a very high chance of encountering CTE. The works include: - preparatory works: clearing of trees and shrubs, clearing of forests in connection with earthworks, selective felling of tree stands, constructioncalculation of old fences, local elements and constructions - natural engineering earthworks: excavating/remediating (disturbed) top layers of plots, earthworks on ponds and pools, sod work - CTE supervision of the excavation work - infrastructure works: installing meadow barriersitings, gates and accesses, installing small-scale recreational infrastructure - landscaping: planting forestry
