The City Of Newnan Seeks To Expand The Linc Trail System. Phase 13 Will Be Built Within Public Right=of-way And On City Easements. The Project Is Approximately 6, 054 Linear Feet (1.15 Miles), And Includes A 10' To 12' Wide Concrete Trail, Landscape, Stormwater Improvements, Road Width And Parking Reconfigurations, Along With Bridge Structures And Retaining Walls. The City Anticipates Issuing A Ntp Around May 11, 2026. Construction Activities Adjacent To Newnan High School Are Anticipated To Commence Immediately Following The Conclusion Of The School Year With A Target Construction Start Date Of May 25, 2026. Work Adjacent To Newnan High School Is Considered Time-critical And Must Be Substantially Completed Prior To The Start Of The 2026- 2027 School Year. Contractors Are Advised That Subsequent Paving And Related Work By Others Is Anticipated To Follow Closely Behind Portions Of This Project. As Such, Proactive Coordination, Early Mobilization, And Aggressive Scheduling For This Area Will Be Required To Meet Overall Project Objectives.
