New wharf facility for Oslo fire and rescue PURPOSE AND SCOPE The Oslo Fire and Rescue Service is to renew its wharf facility, address Akershusstranda 31. There is an approved construction file for the measure, and the new wharf facility must be designed in line with the approved the drawings included in the construction file. Case number: 202463198 - Construction case. Today's fleet of fireboats consists of one smaller vessel of 8 meters and one larger vessel of 15 metres. In addition, a new, larger vessel has been acquired which is currently under production. This the vessel will have a length of approximately 20 meters and a weight of approximately 34 tonnes. This will eventually replace the 15m vessel. The jetty is used by several actors, and often acts as a base for emergency services in the event of incidents at sea. It is therefore crucial that design and solutions have a clear operational focus, and facilitate simple, robust and predictable use throughout the year. The brewing facility must be well lit and kept free of snow and ice all year round. Arrangements must be made for efficient operational use for the Oslo Fire and Rescue Service, while the facility must function as a safe and appropriate harbor for the vessels. Year-round access to water, good capacity for electricity and flexible, functional mooring solutions must be part of the delivery and represent an improvement compared to the current facility.
