The subject of the public contract is a new tower simulator of the Czech Air Traffic Control (NETWOR project), which will provide the Air Traffic Control of the Czech Republic (Air Traffic Control of the Czech Republic), including the Czech Navigation Institute (CANI), a highly reliable, flexible and modern 3D TWR simulator that will meet various training and other needs.
Training The ŘLP CR will include the following types of training:
- introductory training (basic and qualification training),
- station training (transitional and preliminary OJT training),
- continuing training (repetitive and retraining),
- emergency training,
- training of air traffic instructors and evaluators,
- training military air traffic controllers. These trainings will take place using several different airport environments:
- LKPR (including the stimulated ATM system) - controlled by the air traffic controllers of the ŘLZ CR,
- LKKV, LKTB, LKMT and possibly LKCS (including emulated ATM system and possibly Remote Tower system) - controlled by air traffic controllers of the Czech Air Traffic Control,
- LKKB, LKPD, LKCV, LKNA - managed by military air traffic controllers,
- artificial airports based on LKPR and LKTB - used for external CANI clients,
- other airports requested by CANI's external clients.
At the same time, testing of new procedures should be ensured, testing new ATM systems and changes to systems, testing changes to the layout of the airport and familiarizing other airport users with operations in the non-public part of the airport.
