The existing staircase is a tiled concrete staircase which has been the subject of several minor improvements over time. The situation is now like this that further point-by-point repairs are not considered appropriate. There are particularly the following challenges: · Tile adhesive absorbs water, which leads to frost cracking in winter · Solutions are worn and uneven after previous repairs · Surfaces are perceived as smooth and increases the risk of falling, especially in wet or snowy conditions Documents
