New Plymouth District CouncilNew Plymouth District Council requires a suitably qualified and experienced civil contractor(s) with the capability and capacity to deliver road construction services for Sites 4 & 6 as part of the Tarata Road Resilience Programme. The successful contractor must demonstrate both capability and capacity to complete the works using machine control technology (graders and excavators). All physical works are required to be completed by 30 April 2026 for site 6 and by 2 February 2026 for site 4. Timely completion of works by 2 Feb 2026 (site 4), and 30 April 2026 (site 6) is essential. This deadline ensures delivery during the summer construction season and aligns with the broader Tarata Road Resilience Programme, which targets completion of six sites by June 2027 and reflects the communitys expectation for prompt, high-quality improvements. The successful contractor will be expected to implement a robust methodology that adheres to road construction best practices, including: - Use of well-maintained plant and equipment - A healthy and well-trained workforce - Audited safety policies and procedures that prevent incidents This notice was published directly via the New Plymouth District Council E-Tendering portal.
