Background Møre and Romsdal county council (client) needs a new library system for 20 secondary schools. This applies to both schools with a school library that lends a variety of literature and material, and schools that only lend textbooks. The system must support the school library, school librarians and other employees connected to the school library and/or textbook lending in their workflow. The system must be an appropriate tool so that the school library can fulfill its responsibilities according to the Education Act § 15-5 and the Education Regulations § 11-2. General The library system is the most important work tool for the employees. Core functions are to keep an overview of the library's physical collections, provide an overview of borrowers and loans, and offer a search interface for staff and users. The library system is also the gateway to the collection for the public, and it is therefore central that the user interface is functional and accessible.
