New district pool in Trondheim municipality - Invitation to market dialogue
Trondheim municipality wants to investigate the interest in the market for whether private actors can build and operate a pool facility to meet the need for increased pool capacity for the citizens of Trondheim, and where time can be rented for sports and swimming training. The purpose of the market dialogue is to investigate whether private actors will be able to build and operate this facility in such a way that the annual cost (LCC cost) for the municipality will be lower than if the municipality builds and operates a new district pool itself. Through the market dialogue, the municipality wishes to survey whether it is feasible to realize a district pool in collaboration with private actors. Before the municipality considers announcing a competition for the purchase of pool capacity, we invite dialogue meetings with the market. We want input from the market on what is needed to establish a pool facility which can cover the needs for more capacity for the public, pool sports and possibly for swimming lessons in primary school.
