REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT INQUIRYTHIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is seeking information and sources that can provide temporary services up to 3.0 FTE; two (2) Medical Technologists and one (1) Histopathology Technician for the Fort Harrison VA Medical Center, 3717 Veterans Drive, Fort Harrison, MT 59636. The Medical Technologist shall provide clinical laboratory generalist duties in all areas of the laboratory including phlebotomy, urinalysis, coagulation, hematology, immunohematology, blood gases, microbiology, and chemistry. The Histopathology Technician shall provide essential surgical and cytology specimen identification, cutting, processing, and staining. The period of performance is for a 6-month base with a 6-month option and a possible 6-month extension.  The NAICS code is 561320 Temporary Help Services and Small Business Size Standard is $34.0 Million.  The information submitted shall contain the company s business size status. This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation! This is not a request for proposal (RFP). No questions will be answered. The VA will not pay for any information received resulting from this, sources sought notice. Requests for copies of a solicitation shall not be honored or acknowledged.
