New construction workshop and office housing Olivijnstraat Alkmaar In 2022, HVC took over the collection activities of Stadswerk072. As part of this takeover, the workshop on Herculesstraat was also taken over. However, this location is not available as a structural housing solution for HVC. To provide future-proof housing, a building plot was purchased on Olivijnstraat in Alkmaar in 2023. Based on further research, it was decided to discontinue the BU Collection, including workshop function, to be housed jointly with the BU Logistics in one new company building to be constructed at this location. With the development of this new building, all employees of Logistics and Collection Alkmaar, including the associated equipment and fleet, housed in one central location.
