Description
The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) in Milwaukee, WI is searching for vendors with the capability to provide furnish all labor, transportation, parts, and expertise necessary to provide preventative maintenance, calibration, inspections, and corrective maintenance (unscheduled) repair of the scales and related equipment. Equipment covered under the contract encompasses several manufacturers and models. There will be no sensitive information involved. This will be for the Edward Hines, Jr. Medical Center located at 5000 South 5th Avenue, Hines, IL 60141. The contractor shall provide the expertise to maintain a variety of different weight scales as follows:Bed Scales, Industrial Scales, Patient Scales, Clinical Precision Scales, Patient Chair Scales, Patient Bedside Scales, Wheelchair Scales. The approx. number of scales is: 195 All interested, responsible sources must submit a brief summary of their capabilities to this office by 11:00 AM Local/Central on Wednesday April 17, 2024, to include detailed description of the firm s experience in providing this service, UEI number, name and phone number of a point of contact in case further information is needed. Summaries must be submitted via email to debbie.bruening@va.gov Telephone inquiries will not be returned. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes to determine availability of qualified vendors and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. The procurement will be competed under NAICS 811210.
