Florida Department of Health, Bureau of Radiation Control (BRC) has requested to purchase two neutron radiation detectors. The neutron radiation detectors must be compatible with mobile radiation detection systems (www.radiationsolutions.ca/mobile/) manufactured by Radiation Solutions Inc (RSI) and the RSI mobile systems currently owned by the BRC (3 RSI mobile systems): our state law enforcement partners (Florida Highway Patrol, with 9 RSI mobile systems), and our Federal partners Department of Energy (DOE) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with 10+ RSI mobile radiation detection systems). In accordance with Chapter 60A-1.045, Florida Administrative code, Bureau of Radiation Control, request authorization to purchase, as a single source, neutron radiation detectors from Radiation Solutions, Inc (RSI).
