I/S Vestforbrænding (hereinafter referred to as "the client") is Denmark's largest waste and energy company and is owned by 19 Zealand municipalities. We receive waste from companies and one million citizens - and work daily to ensure that the waste is treated in the best possible way possible with consideration for the climate and the environment. The majority of the waste is set aside for recycling. The rest is burned at the plant in Glostrup and used to produce electricity and district heating, which is primarily distributed via its own district heating network. The ordering party is in the process of a framework process where security in general, IT security specifically and the robustness of the client's primary services are significantly improved. This course partly originates in the NIS2 and CER directives, as well as a number of unplanned breakdowns. At the same time, the client is in underway with a number of large and strategic projects in the multi-billion class, such as expansion of the district heating network, establishment of CO2 capture, acquisition/merger with smaller/other CHP plants, incorporation and, not least, renovation of existing production plant. All activities that require expansion, consolidation and hardening of existing IT infrastructure. The establishment of this framework agreement takes place with a view to cost-effective and flexible procurement of selected infrastructure components, including hardware, licenses and support agreements, as well as access to competent consultants on the IT infrastructure. At the same time, a strategic partner is wanted who knows the client well and who can deliver emergency services and security...
