The purpose of this Request for Quotations (RFQ) is to solicit qualified contractors to provide parking lot maintenance and line painting services at the Nelson and District Community Complex (NDCC). The work encompasses both the west side parking area accessed from Hall Street and the east side parking area accessed from Cedar Street, including all parking stalls, fire lanes, and the through-lane connecting the Civic and NDCC arenas. The scope of work is focused on restoring safety, visibility, and regulatory compliance across the parking facilities through comprehensive surface preparation and repainting. This includes power sweeping and washing of all paved areas to remove accumulated dirt, sand, and debris, followed by proper disposal of waste materials. Contractors will also be required to reposition 105 existing parking stall barriers (wheel stops) located in the west parking lot to ensure proper alignment and functionality. Subsequent to surface preparation, the contractor will repaint parking infrastructure using appropriate traffic-grade materials. This work includes repainting demarcation lines for 135 parking stalls in the front and rear parking lots, directional arrows, accessible parking stencils in accordance with local regulations, curbing, speed bumps, and designated “No Parking” areas within fire lanes.
