Doppler Very High Omni-directional Range Tactical Air Navigation (DVORTAC)

PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION:

The United States Air Force (USAF) is soliciting information for potential sources capable of upgrading/modifying and/or replacing its current Conventional Very High Omni-directional Range Tactical Air Navigation (CVORTAC) systems, Thales ATM Part Number: 069817-0001, NSN: 5825-01-629-7692, operating in the VHF band from 108-117.95 MHz to a Doppler Very High Omni-directional Range Tactical Air Navigation (DVORTAC).

We seek information on the capability of potential vendors to provide, install, and support the upgrading/replacing of current CVORTAC systems to more modern DVORTAC systems, including innovative and cost-effective approaches.

The USAF is seeking capability statements from all interested parties, including all socioeconomic categories of small and large businesses, women owned, and historically black colleges and universities (HBCU)/Minority Institutions (MI), for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition and/or small business subcontracting goals.

The Government reserves the right to consider a Small, 8(a), Women-owned (WOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran (SD-VOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women-owned Small Business (EDWOSB) or HUBZone business set-aside based on responses received.

No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on SAM.gov. Interested vendors are responsible for monitoring this website for the release of any solicitation or synopsis.
