In this tender, the main contract for the establishment of fuel installations for Air-to-Air Refueling (AAR) refueling facilities is offered in connection with the following three NATO projects:
- "2AF21541, Provide new Aircraft Parking and Maintenance Apron", FSN Karup
- "2AF21544, New Aircraft Parking and Maintenance Apron", FSN Skrydstrup
- "2AF21546, Provide new On-Base POL Facilities and Upgrade On-Base Interconnecting Pipeline" for the establishment of new storage tanks dedicated to Air-to-Air-Refueling (AAR).
The three projects are all included as one of seven Danish projects that have been made necessary of NA-TO's need to have the existing facilities at Skrydstrup Airport and Karup Airport upgraded, so that AAR tankers can be refueled at both locations.
At Skrydstrup Airport and Karup Airport, the contract includes the establishment of new hydrant facilities for dispensing fuel to AAR tankers, including:
- Delivery pumps
- Filter/water separators
- Hydrants on apron
- Defuel tanks
- Defuel pumps
- Pipe and valve arrangements
- Fuel lines in the ground
- Internal electrical installations and controls
- Building electricity, ventilation and frost protection
