Project Description :This is an invitation to a open market engagement event for:
National Tutoring Programme - Delivery partner(s) from AY 2022/23
The Department for Education has provided over 1 million tutoring
courses since the launch of the National Tutoring Programme in 2020. We are seeking to build on this for Academic Years 22/23
and 23/24, in response to feedback, by making the programme simpler and more flexible. To achieve this, we are seeking one or more delivery partners to
deliver the following requirements:
• Quality Assurance of agencies (“Tuition Partners”) supplying contract tutors, to support schools that wish to make use of call-off tutoring by subject and locality.
• Recruitment of a new pool of tutors (known as “Academic Mentors”) to be assigned to schools. Management of a school-facing process for assigning Academic
Mentors to schools.
• Provision of a training offer, which may be delivered in-person, via e-learning or as a blended offer, for new tutors.
DfE will be hosting an open, virtual early market engagement event on 8th April 2022 from 1pm to 2pm via Microsoft Teams. All parties wishing to attend this event
