NIP Cambodia has National Immunization Strategy 2021-2025 and beyond up to 2030 (NIS), in accordance with Immunization Agenda 2030 and WHO Western Pacific Regional Framework on vaccine preventable diseases and immunization. As five years past, NIP plans for mid-term review and do necessary update of NIS and develop NIP plan 2026-2030 towards NIS target goals in 2030. Gavi, the vaccine alliance, the main donor to NIP, also renewed its supporting policy and strategy for 2026-2030 (Gavi 6.0) that Cambodia-s NIP needs to take into consideration for coming five years activity plan. Therefore NIP, WHO, and partners discussed and agreed to conduct NIP review in 2025. In parallel to NIP review, Cambodia-s Ministry of Health, in collaboration with WHO Cambodia, decided to conduct a national immunization coverage survey in 2025 to assess the coverage of key vaccines among target populations. This survey will provide evidence on geographic and socioeconomic disparities in coverage with detailed information (e.g., reason of un-vaccination, timeliness of vaccination, any barriers to access and utilization), that is critical for prioritization and setting a tailored strategy of zero dose children.The survey findings will inform together with National Immunization Program review and Effective Vaccine Management Assessment, to support development of the National Immunization Strategy 2026-2030 and National Immunization Program action plan 2026-2030.Kindly ensure that you indicate WHO Bid Re...
