Country: Eswatini Description of the Assignment:Under the supervision of the UNDP Environment Team Lead, and in close collaboration with the Project preparatory Lead, the consultant will undertake the following tasks:The Gender and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist will develop mandatory projectAnnexes related to application of social and environmental safeguards and support adherence of project development to UNDP's Gender Analysis and Gender Mainstreaming Plan and specific requirements, as appropriate. The consultant will be a gender and stakeholder engagement expert with experience in-depthgender analysis and stakeholder engagement.The scope of work entails: I. Preparatory Technical Studies and Reviews (Component A): Prepare inputs and support the required analyses/studies, as agreed with the GEF PPG Team Leader, including: . Support/Participate in the InceptionWorkshop; . Support Team leader and SES expert to conduct stakeholder consultations; . Prepare the gender analysis and action plan and work closely with the GEF PPG Team Leader to ensure its findings are meaningfully integrated into the project's strategy, theory of change and resultsframework; . Advise on gender responsive stakeholder analysis and consultations and ensure that they are complete and comprehensive; and .
