the section n09.723 engi is located on the south side of the simplonpass road, maintenance kilometers 27, 000 - 29, 100. The 2.1 km long project section is largely determined by the avalanche protection gallery engi, which comprises approx. 83% of the section. Before and after, two short sections of open track join.
