The Maasmechelen municipal council, together with the local Lanaken-Maasmechelen police, is committed to a safe environment, the prevention and management of nuisance, as well as increasing the quality of life in our municipality. Within a wide range of preventive measures to prevent nuisance (fly-tipping, etc.).lism, ...), additional cameras are deployed in nuisance-sensitive locations.
The purpose of these cameras consists on the one hand of the general monitoring of a number of nuisance-sensitive locations and on the other hand they are used to make observations regarding a number of persistentsome nuisance phenomena (fly-tipping, vandalism and so-called 'crazy behavior' in traffic).
