The municipal council has decided to update the current Municipal Spatial Structure Plan (GRS), adopted in 2005 and partially revised in 2010. Since it is no longer possible under the decree to formally revise a structure plan, the municipality to draw up a new Municipal Spatial Policy Plan (GBR). The cost of the total order is estimated at € 310, 000 incl. VAT. This policy plan forms the strategic guideline for the future spatial policy of the municipality of Laakdal. To this end, the plan consists of a strategic vision and one or more policy frameworks. The aim of the vision is to provide direction to the long-term objectives. In the policy frameworks, these long-term objectives are converted into action-oriented ones achievable goals. To motivate the choices made that are set out in the policy plan, the necessary background information must be available in the form of existing reports or figures. If necessary for specific themes drawn up the necessary research reports within the policy plan. A strategic EIA plan is drawn up simultaneously with the municipal spatial policy plan.
