One or more of these campgrounds contain aging infrastructure, including water, sewer, hydro, roads, and related servicing infrastructure that are approaching the end of their useful life. Documents
Council is currently evaluating long-term options for the operation of the municipal campground system, including continued investment in infrastructure rehabilitation and replacement, changes to the operating model, potential closure of one or more sites, and/or future redevelopment opportunities.
To support this decision-making process, the Township is seeking to retain a qualified consulting firm to undertake a comprehensive feasibility study and strategic review of the municipal campground system.
The assignment shall provide Council and Administration with an evidence-based assessment of the current operating model, infrastructure needs, financial sustainability, and strategic opportunities associated with the campgrounds.
