Umeå municipality together with other tendering organizations is procuring a framework agreement for the purchase of factory-new multifunction machines (MFP) of the latest model. Umeå municipality has a total of 750 network-connected printers, of which approx. 620 are MFPs. The MFPs that exist have individual contract lengths and will be exchanged continuously during the contract period. The agreement is based on 4 basic machines (basic standard) with different print volumes with associated service agreements. The buyer decides themselves when the service agreement should end on the MFP in question. When the technical lifespan of the MFP has been reached, the buyer will be responsible for sustainable recycling after establishing a buy-back policy. The ambition is for the machines to come out on the market again.
