Description
The contractor shall be a registered sludge transporter in accordance with local, state, and federalregulations. This includes being registered with the Texas Commission on EnvironmentalQuality (TCEQ) to pump and remove sludge waste and oil/water separated waste. Stateregistration must include the ability to pump, remove, or haul more than one type of waste. Thecontractor is responsible for obtaining all approvals for the mixture of the wastes to ensureproper disposal. The contractor is responsible for all waste spills during the performance of thiscontract.The waste must be disposed of at an authorized site that accepts these two types of waste. Labtests may be required by the landfill. The cost for all lab tests shall be included in the contractprice schedule.Rio Grande Station site would require vacuuming the lines of any mud or debris from themud/pit to the water/separator tank.
