Work Location : Move the Schools’ Transportation Department from their current offices at 5644 George Washington Memorial Highway, Gloucester VA 23061 – to their new facility located at 5318 TC Walker Road, Gloucester VA 23061 Website:https://www.gloucesterva.info/1386/Current-Bid-Opportunities-Award-Informat Summary:PURPOSEGloucester County is seeking quotations to provide all labor, materials, equipment, expertise, and supervision to pack and move the Schools’ Transportation Department from their current offices at 5644 George Washington Memorial Highway, Gloucester VA 23061 – to their new facility located at 5318 TC Walker Road, Gloucester VA 23061.The move needs to begin onMarch 28th 2023, and be completed no later than Close-of-Business on March 31st, 2023.SCOPE OF SERVICESThe use of as many workers and trucks as needed to pack and move all items from the storeroom, garage, grounds, and shop area; as well as move all pre-packed items from the offices.Items to be moved will include, but are not limited to:• Supply of approximately 300 standard-sized moving boxes/or totes• Tool boxes, rolling carts, and various equipment from the shop area• Janitorial items from the garage• All items from and behind the detached garage, ExCEPT for the tire machine• 8 extra-large floor model filing cabinet/office furnishings• Tire inventory• All contents of vehicle supply room• Flammables, aerosols, and items that could leak, will not be included in these services.• Moving and/or disposal of such items will be the responsibility of Gloucester County Schools.SITE VISITSBidders are not required to visit the site prior to submitting their quotation.However, if a bidder chooses to make a site visit, please contact the Director of Transportation Tanya Deckard at (804) 693-2127, or the Transportation Shop Manager Daniel Burnett at (804) 815-8091, to schedule a time to view the sit...
