Mosquito control and suppression service in the area of the city of Osijek

Larvicidal treatment

The services of larvicidal treatment of mosquitoes include:

- suppression of potential legal mosquito larvae in the area of the City of Osijek (small, medium and large broods) and large broods outside the borders of the City of Osijek in the peripheral partsand the flood areas of neighboring municipalities, in accordance with the agreement, a total of approx. 4, 000 ha. The larvicidal treatment of mosquitoes will be carried out with biological larvicidal preparations in the form of liquid, granules, powder and chemical preparations in the form of liquid, granules or slow-release briquettes, by manual application or pdeviations from spraying or granulation from vehicles, boats/amphibians, drones and the like according to the instructions of the Institute for Public Health of Osijek-Baranja County. For the larvicidal treatment of mosquitoes, it is allowed to use means that are duly registered and allowed for use in the Republicface of Croatia.

Adulticidal treatment from the ground

Adulticidal treatment of mosquitoes from the ground will be carried out in the area of the City of Osijek and peripheral parts of neighboring municipalities, and includes the treatment of green areas, parks, streets, yards, etc.. Adulticidal treatment of mosquitoes from the ground is carried out by manual treatment forsmall and hard-to-reach areas (courtyards, green areas, etc.). by the method of warm fogging and cold misting (ULV) with a droplet size that will ensure immediate efficiency (reduction of abundance in the treated area) of at least 50% on an area of about 5, 000 ha in all conditions and treatment...
