The response close date of the notice for this requirement is in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). The mission of the Sisseton Indian Health Service is to provide the best possible healthcare services to the Native American population on the Sisseton Wahpeton Sioux Tribe Reservation. To achieve this mission the Service Unit has identified the need for a Non-Personal Service Contract for supply inventory system for the Property & Supply Department.
The Property & Supply Department is responsible for keeping inventory on hand to meet the needs of medical staff along with administrative offices. The purpose of using the M-Systems software is to maintain a solid awareness of the facility-s needs. The software is especially useful in tracking supply usage and preventing waste due to ordering surplus items and having to dispose of them when they expire. M-System software is not only essential for Inventory Management but is instrumental in providing accurate information when reporting to Headquarters.
Morris System is mandated by IHS as the only vendor for this inventory management service. HHS has determined that Morris Systems is the only known source for this requirement.
