This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Responses to this source sought notice must be in writing. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. The VA Los Angeles Hospital requires the purchase of Morgue Shelving and a cadaver Lift. The VA Los Angeles Hospital is located 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, Ca 90073 and is the expected place of delivery. The prospective contractor must be Brand Name or Equal parts specifications provided in the Salient Characteristic document.DELIVERABLES AND SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Contractor will deliver the below items to the West Los Angeles VA Hospital. Contractor will install all rack systems within the existing Morgue Crypt. Deliverables must meet the minimum requirements/salient characteristics listed below. 4 ea sets of 3 high, side-loading, stationary cadaver racks each rack set will have 3x 27 wide cadaver trays1 ea powered cadaver lift capable of: Equal to JD5000Holding 27 cadaver trayLowering cadaver on tray to at least 13.5 inches Rising cadaver on tray to at least 76 inchesSupporting both side and end loading of cadaver traysWeight capacity of 500 or more poundsMILESTONESDelivery of all deliverables.Installation of all racks.SCHEDULEPeriod of Performance shall be 180 days for all deliverables to be delivered and installed, as appropriate.
