The Noise, Air and Nature department (BNGLN) of the Accessibility and Network Quality directorate has the task of preparing and delivering annual monitoring data for: 1. the Compliance Report on noise production ceilings for national highways; 2. air quality monitoring. This monitoring data largely contain the same types of data: traffic figures, road characteristics. There are differences in principles between the two important projects. The most important common denominator is that the 2 projects / processes assume the same traffic figures and speeds and as much as possiblecalibration of source files that are projected for both themes on a traffic network based on the NWB. The data provided for air quality is also input for nitrogen deposition/AERIUS.
