The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to award a firm-fixed priced modification to Beckman Coulter, Inc. (Beckman Coulter), for the procurement of additional chemistry for CPRR tests for the Dallas Laboratory. The increased chemistry will include the panels listed below in the item description. The increased testing is for the VA North Texas Healthcare System, Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service, 4550 S. Lancaster Rd., Dallas, TX 75216.

The modification will be made by a pricing agreement with Beckman Coulter, based upon pricing from previous contracts and VA NAC FSS schedule pricing.
The requesting activity states due to new VA initiatives for prostate health, the items need to be added to the BPA.
This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. A modification or new contract award will not be awarded based on an offer received in response to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals or offers received will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government. If no affirmative written response is received within seven (7) days from the publication of this notice, a modification will be issued to Beckman Coulter, without any further notice.
