The current validation equipment was manufactured and installed between 1995 and 2008. Since then, the software that makes them work has not been renewed, due to the obsolescence of the hardware that is unable to support the software necessary to implement new functionalities, as well asthe integration of new peripherals, graphic screens and new EMV certified validation readers, to implement new technologies such as validation by bank card or mobile electronic devices. All modernization actions must be carried out, both in furniturees flap (Lot 1), as well as in surface validators (Lot 2), as well as the replacement of the complete validation line at the Colon station (Lot 3).
