The current boardrooms lighting level is too low which interferes with the existing audio visual and video conferencing equipment. The camera often goes inand out of focus and creates issues for the users during their meeting. We consulted with our internal av team, and we have been advised that a lightingdesigner expert with the knowledge and experience of the lighting and av system is recommended, and the lighting should not be linked to the av/vc system. Itis recommended to use light switches that offers pre-set settings for different modes that should be identified and will need to be designed by the consultant.The hiring of a consultant is imperative for the design and the overseeing of the project realization and construction. The complete project requirements islisted on the design intent package and the drawing. The lighting consultant must provide a brief of their proposed method of demolition and constructionrelated to all scope items mentioned in the design intent. The lighting consultant must specify all scope items and provide cut sheets for client approval. Anylighting solution and equipment proposed must be approved by BGIS and included on their approved lighting equipment list. This is to ensure BGIS will beable to maintain and repair lighting following construction. We are looking for the least intrusive solution using the existing site condition.
