Description
The Florida National Guard Counterdrug Program (FLNG-CDP) Air and Marine Reconnaissance Team (AMRT) has a requirement for mobile radar kits. Current Furuno radar lacks many of the mobility and technological characteristics required for success while operating in discreet and harsh coastal environments. AMRT has determined and identified the need for 3 smaller mobile radar packages to enhance AMRT maritime and land operations. Radar package requirements includes the capability to remain discreet in highly populated areas, include a TZtouch3 portable radar kit built on a platform that is coupled with 12-inch multi-function display. Additional requirements include a solid-state pulse compression doppler radar with a powerful open-array antenna that fits into a compact 24-inch radome. Radar package should be configured for quick on the go maritime and land operations and can be deployed within 30 minutes in support to LEAs during maritime and land operations.
