The Edinburg Fire Department has been approved for a grant through the Office of the Governor (OOG) FY 2025 Border Zone Fire Departments (BZFD) Grant #5172701. The purpose of this purchase is for a Mobile Breathing Air Cascade System mounted within a cargo trailer. The system must be capable of supplying high-pressure breathing air for refilling SCBA cylinders and support emergency operations. The system must include a six (6) bank cascade system, proper breathing air compressor, control panel, fill stations with blast protection, air reels for quick fill connections and custom graphics.
