THIS IS A FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Non-electronic and e-mail responses WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The response must be submitted in the Supplier Portal no later than the date and time called for in the Finish Time in the Event Details.PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND. The purpose of this solicitation is to receive responses and award a contract with a qualified manufacturer to provide MNDOT Custom Built Sign Trailers and Options as specified in the Exhibit C: Specifications, Duties, and Scope of Work of the Draft Contract and Exhibits attached to the event. Additional purchases may be made throughout the duration of the contract. Due to the customized nature of this contract, responses from authorized distributors, brokers, or other non-manufacturing entities will not be accepted. In addition to the specifications detailed in Exhibit C of the Draft Contract and Exhibits, Responders must also review and incorporate the details of Exhibit C-1: Sign Trailer Drawings.PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING. There will be an optional pre-proposal meeting where interested bidders will be able to see an example of a trailer at MnDOT's Central Shop Location, 6000 Minnehaha Ave, Fort Snelling, MN 55111.
