The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide Pre-Construction and Construction Services for the new Mission Hill Water Treatment Plant (MHWTP). Services will be delivered under a Construction Management Contract - for Services and Work (CCDC 5B). The RDNO intends to utilize a single, integrated CCDC 5B Contract framework to govern the project lifecycle, which is structured across two distinct phases. The RDNO has contracted separately for design services with a Consultant. The successful Construction Manager will work collaboratively with the Consultant and the RDNO throughout the project duration according to the following phased structure: Phase 1 (Pre-Construction Services): Activated immediately upon contract award, this phase is governed by the terms, conditions and professional services provisions of the CCDC 5B Construction Management Contract Framework (Appendix A), as amended by the Supplementary General Conditions (Appendix B). The primary objective of Phase 1 is the collaborative development and transparent open-book pricing of a mutually acceptable Stipulated Price for the construction works.
