Minor Civil Works 2021-2022
Description :
The Town of Gawler invites tenders for the provision of Minor Civil Works within the Minor Civil Works Project. The Council is adopting a Schedule of Rates procurement model for the delivery of the Project. The Council will enter into a Contract for Services with the successful Tenderer.The Town of Gawler is seeking to establish the following works:
Improve bus stops in-line with the LGA requirement to upgrade all bus stops to DDA standards by December 2022;
Prioritise the renewals of kerb and gutter, service pit lids and pram ramps in-line with the requirements of the Reseal Roads program to reduce future asphalt disturbance and maximize the overall life of the road pavement;
Construction of a new pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Redbanks Road and Princes Street;
Construction of various footpaths, paving, stormwater and traffic upgrades; and
Construction of DDA and infrastructure upgrades at the Tambelin Railway Station.
The works shall be completed by 30 June 2022.
