Minimal repair of Sihlbrücken At Zurich main station (HB), 25 SBB bridges cross the Sihl. Of these, 16 bridges are track bridges and 9 bridges are platform bridges. The bridges are approx. 68m long and span 5 passages as continuous girders with field widths of 13.40 - 13.80m long. The approximately 3.5m wide track bridges are designed in cross-section as a trough with side rolled girders, steel ribs and an internal concrete trough. The platform bridges consist of a concrete slab Steel beam joists. Historically, the Zurich HB was rebuilt several times and there are bridges built between 1857 and 1990. From March to May 2027, the structures are to undergo minimal repairs for a maintenance-free period to be achieved by at least 2050. In particular, the following measures must be implemented: * Comprehensive repair of defects in corrosion protection on all bridges * Mechanical adjustment / welding work and crack testing on 123 slat ends at the Bottom view of the seven track bridges from 1928 (Thomasstahl) * Crack tests on the top flanges of the track bridges from 1928 * Addition of approx. 6 ribs in the platform bridge 1857 (puddle steel) * Replacement of a roller bearing with a new pot bearing (track bridge 4 from 1928), further individual investigations and measures at camps * Local concrete repairs, in particular 11 areas of approx. 3.5x0.7m each on the underside of the bridge * Extension drainage pipes (approx. 250 pieces)...
