The object of the procurement is described in more detail in the section Criteria for the object of procurement and in the attachments of the request for tenders. All procurement sites are located in the Uusikaupunki and Kalanni area. In the comparison of tenders, the lowest price is used as the basis of the overall economic advantage. Based on the offer comparison, one (1) will be selected contractor. The reference point for the change in the price of the binder is the price according to the level of the bitumen price in March 2025, when the bitumen index was 209.17 (2015 = 100). The size of the changes is considered to be the bitumen index of Statistics Finland. The estimated start of the contract is May 18, 2026. The contract must be completed by October 31, 2026 at the latest. The procurement unit can, for a justified reason, grant additional time for the works related to the contract.
