this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in far subpart 12.6, streamlined procedures for evaluation and solicitation for commercial items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 88310319q00023 and is issued as a request for quotation (rfq). This request does not commit the government to pay any costs incurred in the preparation or the submission of a quotation or to contract for supplies or services. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through federal acquisition circular 2005-101 effective october 26, 2018. This requirement is restricted to small business. Contract line item number(s): see attachment 1, to combined synopsis /solicitation. Requirement: the national archives and records administration (nara) has a requirement to obtain equipment and maintenance services for a microform scanner system. See attached specification.
