Tender Details

Tenders are invited for MIA Expansion Project - Hydrologic Monitoring, Environmental Monitoring and Ecological Restoration.

16. Bid Security
16.1.The Bidder shall furnish, as part of ils bid. a bid securilv in ihe amount of Macau
Palacas Three Million (MOPS3.000.000.00).
16.2. The bid security is required to protect the Employer against the risk of the Bidder's
conduct which would warrant the security's forfeiture, pursuant to ITB Clause 16.5.
16.3. The bid security shall be denominated in the currency of the bid, and shall be an
irrevocable bank guarantee issued by a recognized bank authorized by the Monetary
Authority of Macau to operate in the Macau SAR, in the form provided in the
tender document and valid for the period of one hundred and eightv (180) calendar
days from the deadline for the submission of bids.
16.4. Any bid not secured in accordance with ITB Clauses 16.1 to 16.3 may be rejected
as substantially non-responsive, pursuant to ITB Clause 24.
16.5.The bid security may be forfeited, at CAM's sole discretion, in any situation that
justifies the forfeiture, including but not limited to any of the following situations:
1) if a Bidder expresses the intention to withdraw or unilaterally modify its bid
during the period of bid validity specified in the tender document; or
1) if, for whatever cause or reason, the successful Bidder fails to sign the
Contract Agreement in accordance with ITB Clause 32; or
2) if the successful Bidder fails to furnish performance security in accordance
with ITB Clause 33.1.
16.6.Without prejudice to ITB Clause 16.5, the bid security will be discharged by the
Employer to the successful Bidder no later than forty-five (45) days after the
successful Bidder has signed the Contract Agreement and also submitted the
performance security in accordance with ITB Clause 32 and Clause 33.1.

Signage:
x Security signage with worksite security awareness shall be placed by contractor inside
worksite.
x Signs for a 24-hour emergency phone number(s) for a person(s) who can respond to the site
should be posted at the main entrance and on the interior of the worksite.
x Signage inside and outside worksite with “Area Under Surveillance” around the project
perimeter should be placed whenever feasible.
x Contractor-s staff shall be clear on how and who to contact in case of security breach,
incident or accident.
