NOTE: THE DUE DATE IS NOW AMENDED FROM 4-13-2023 TO 4-19-2023STATEMENT OF NEEDGENERAL: has executed a new lease/build that will consolidate and expand the mental health and domiciliary clinic, 8501 Temple Terrace Highway, Tampa, Florida 33637, requires kitchen equipment. The kitchen equipment will include a salamander, wall shelf, and downdraft system griddle. BACKGROUND: The JAHVH Tampa Mental Health and Domiciliary Clinic require a salamander, wall shelf, and downdraft system griddle in the prep area for the kitchen. PURPOSE: Salamander is used as a broiler to perfect grilling, browning, finishing, and toasting food in half the time of a standard oven. A wall shelf is being used to place kitchen tools. A downdraft system griddle is used for cooking food, eliminating smoke and odors by building a downdraft ventilation system. All kitchen equipment is required for Nutrition Food Services to prepare meals for the Domiciliary patients/veterans. SCOPE: JAHVH Tampa Mental Health and Domiciliary Clinic request contractors to provide a brand name or equal equipment that meets or exceeds the physical, functional, and performance of the listed salient characteristics in this section. The equipment feature is essential to the technical requirements to meet the need of the Nutrition Food Services department.
