Description : AG5 CATHODIC PAINTING OF 2 PENSTOCKS & FIRE FIGHTING PIPES
SCOPE OF WORKS:
1. Mobilization and preparation/installation of scaffolding
2. Scraping of loose paints, power brushing of rusted areas
3. Sanding of old painted areas which are still in good condition to ensure good adhesion of topcoat paint during wash over paint application
4. Allow first coating (cathodic paint) to totally dry out before application of second or finel coating of the two penstocks
5. Top coat green epoxy paint for the two penstocks
6. Allow first coating (clear epoxy primer) to dry out before application of finel coating for all fire fighting pipes
7. Top coat red epoxy paint for all fire fighting pipes
8. General cleaning and removal of all materials and painting residues and wastes after completion of all activities
CONDITIONS:
1. Wearing of proper PPE's should be observed
2. All painting activities must be carried out only during dry or sunny weather and must be interrupted or stopped when there is sudden rain or when the weather is humid...
